There is no such thing as paying to get your resume prioritized

Two big things on my mind today:

1. SourceHire is a known scam organization. The "Priority Review" feature doesn't exist - there is no such thing as paying to get your resume seen as of today, August 6, 2026. The only thing that Priority Review activates is a box for you to input your credit card information. The ranking system is a random number generator. Job seekers who use SourceHire are essentially giving away their money and their data to SourceHire.

2. If the latest LinkedIn push to remove AI content isn't enough to wake up our job market, then consider this: LinkedIn is a major figure in the modern job market, and LinkedIn has a lot of power in setting the tone within hiring. LinkedIn was the first to push skills-based hiring. LinkedIn successfully intertwined itself with Workday and Greenhouse. And now LinkedIn is putting the brakes on AI content.
